Monochrome

Monochrome BBS, known to users as “Mono”, is a text-based multi-user bulletin board system featuring thousands of discussion files, along with games, instant and deferred user messaging, and a talker. It is notable for being the UK’s largest internet social networking site in the early- to mid-1990s, long before such sites became commonplace on the world-wide web.
